Carol D. Armstrong, 75, passed away peacefully March 31, 2018, in Valparaiso, IN. She was born the daughter of John and Lurene Harkins on December 26, 1942, in Valparaiso, IN.
Carol was a graduate of North High School in 1960. Shortly after her graduation she began a career with Whirlpool/Diamond Valley FCU which lasted over 44 years. She was a very active church member with The First Church of God and continued to worship with Mt. Pleasant Church of God. Carol was a loving mother, proud grandmother, and beloved sister who will be missed deeply.
Carol is survived by her son Steven Armstrong; grandchildren Sean and Megan; and sister Susan Wilson.
Carol was preceded in death by her loving husband of 50 years Leroy, and both of her parents.
Visitation will be on Wednesday, April 4, 2018, from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. at Graceland Cemetery. Funeral service will be at 11:00 a.m. lead by Pastor Bruce Applegate on Thursday, April 5, 2018, with interment to follow at Graceland Memorial Park.
