Flora Pennington, 80, passed away on May 15, 2018 in Valparaiso, IN. Flora was born the daughter of Alfred and Ida Mae Frizzell on February 18, 1938 in Cannelton, IN.
Flora was known for her crafting abilities like crocheting and her ever growing collection of quilts. She loved playing cards and bingo, but above all, loved spending quality time with her family.
Flora is survived by her children Mike S. (Sherry) Pennington and Patti (Dallas) May; grandchildren Mandy, Ransom (Jared), Brooke, Brittney, Nicholas, Zachary, Stephanie, Tyler, and Amber; five great-grandchildren; cousin Barb (Mike) Heldt; and her beloved retirement companion Maggie the beagle.
Flora was preceded in death by her parents and cherished grandson Shaun May.
Visitation will be on Monday, May 21, 2018, from 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at Graceland Cemetery, with the funeral service to begin at 12:30 p.m. and entombment to follow at Graceland Memorial Park.
