Gerald Gene Boger, 62, passed peacefully in his sleep on January 30, 2018 in Jasper, IN. He was born the son of Joseph and Eva Marie Boger on June 22, 1955 in Fort Benning, GA.
Gene was a proud father, grandfather, and former Marine who left his family and friends far too soon. He most enjoyed golfing, traveling, NASCAR racing, and social time with friends.
Gene is survived by his children Aric (Keisha) Boger and Abby Boger; grandson Blake Boger; father’s beloved wife Carol Boger, siblings Cheryl Young, David Boger, Joey Boger, Richard Boger, and Roger Boger; mother Marie Stoker; and all those that knew him as “Geno” whose friendship he cherished.
Gene was preceded in death by his father Joe Boger; and siblings Karen Boger and Robert Boger.
Visitation will be on Tuesday, February 6, 2018 from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. at Graceland Cemetery in Valparaiso, IN. The funeral service will be at 12 p.m. the same day followed by interment in Graceland Memorial Park.
