April 11, 2018 at 12:36 amMy condolences and prayers for the family. Jeanette and Joe have known me all of my life and they have always been family to me, like an aunt and uncle. I was able to visit last week and was glad to see them both. I will remember all of the great times we’ve had with Jeanette as a child and an adult. She will be missed. Mom and Daddy’s life long friends. Always family.
Jeanette F. Tucker, 81, passed away April 9, 2018 in Newburgh, IN. Jeanette was born the daughter of Rex Dowell and Mary Frances on August 13, 1936 in Muhlenberg County, KY.
Jeanette enjoyed country music especially anything by Travis Tritt, she was an avid NASCAR fan who was always cheering on her favorite driver Kevin Harvick, and most of all she loved her faithful canine companion Punkin.
Jeanette is survived by her husband of 64 years Joe Tucker; children Jo Tucker (Tony) Findley, Rex Tucker, Donald (Sara) Tucker, Janet (Bill) Lauderdale; grandchildren Megan Kemp, Benjamin Findley, Jesse Tucker, Lillian Madson, Marshall Tucker; and loving companion Punkin.
Jeanette was preceded in death by her father Rex Dowell, mother Mary Frances, and brother Billy Dowell.
Visitation will be on Wednesday, April 11, 2018, from 12 p.m. to 1 p.m. at Graceland Cemetery with services beginning at 1 p.m. interment to follow at Graceland Memorial Park.
