When she lived in Newburgh, my wife (Pat) and I enjoyed visiting with her from time to time and I enjoyed sharing some of my cooking with her. We came to know her through the Bridge club and her and I finally got to play as partners earlier this year. To her surprise, we finished first our way which made her very happy! She will be missed by all that knew her. You have our sympathy for your loss.

Words can’t explain what this great lady means to me and my husband. I was so touched by her intelligence, wisdom, and worldly character. She was always a fantastic host for many family dinners (being one of the best cooks I know) and I will never forget how she and Bob hosted our engagement party at their home. We didn’t even ask but she offered her home to all of our family and friends on numerous occasions. I have many of your wash cloths that you made and will treasure that they were made from your own hands as a remembrance of your ability to knit/sew. Mary, may you rest in peace and know that you touched our lives in ways you will never know. Love you so much! Kim and Dave Wathen

Always enjoyed my time with Ms. Yoe at Bosse. She was a teacher that never seemed far removed from her students. Great sense of humor with her dry wit. Every student that I knew liked her.

What a wonderful mentor she was to me! I cherish the memories of the hours sitting on the front steps, talking and philosophizing. Loved her down to earth attitude and her wit. One of my favorites for sure. My thoughts and prayers are with each of you.
