I knew Raymond through the Friend of Friend program at the Valparaiso State Hospital. I am a Navy Mom and Raymond was one of our veteran friends. I can remember his smile and the way he would say my name. I remember his long piano playing fingers and how he use to play the piano in the old building…I am so glad I was able to be his friend and be a part of his life…Very thankful for his service to our country also….Thankful for the Friend of Friend program at the State Hospital and those who took care of him….Sue Hardesty, Navy Mom

Ray-Jay- . I have heard all about your family and your Navy days. I have heard stories and enjoyed your card tricks that you almost forced everyone you met to watch. I felt that we had a great relationship all through the 33 years that we have known each other.. Rest in Peace my Friend, You are truly going to be missed

Raymond, I am going to truly miss you and although it is too late, I apologize for visiting you as often as I could have. I remember Raymond from 8th grade at Lincoln. A lot of the girls were crazy about him. I was one of the lucky ones to have had the opportunity to call him my boyfriend for a couple of years. God bless the family and keep your hands in the hand of the Master, He will comfort you at all times.
